Search for phone in Vic bush murder
A missing mobile phone may be able to help homicide detectives piece together what happened to a Victorian man whose body was found at a national park in the state's southwest.
Police on Friday confirmed a body found at Mount Eccles National Park at the end of January is that of missing man Joshua Kane.
The 20-year-old Hamilton man had been missing since January 23.
Two men, both 19, and a 34-year-old woman, all from Hamilton, were charged with his murder on January 30 and remanded into custody.
Detectives want to speak to anyone who may have been in the national park on the weekend of January 23-24.
They are also appealing to anyone who may have found a mobile phone in the park that weekend to come forward.
