Puppy injured after burglary in Victoria
A puppy has been left with serious injuries after an aggravated burglary near Ballarat, in regional Victoria.
Police say unknown offenders first entered a property in Scotsburn, just after 3am and stole four dirt bikes worth more than $18,000 along with Pippa, a golden Labrador puppy.
They fled the scene in two unknown vehicles just after 3.30am.

A short time later, police said a second aggravated burglary occurred at another propety, 45 minutes later.
After waking the 82-year-old resident inside the home, the offenders fled the scene in a stolen white Toyota Hilux.
Police said the woman was not injured.

The puppy was later located seriously injured at 9am this morning.
Police believe both burglaries are linked.
