Rosie Batty to speak about impact of son's murder at inquest

Rosie Batty will speak of her murdered son Luke Batty at the inquest into his death at the hands of his father.

Greg Anderson killed his 11-year-old son Luke with a cricket bat and knife on February 12 as they played together in the nets at the Tyabb oval after cricket training.

Ms Batty will be given the opportunity to address Victorian Coroner's Court on Thursday, to speak at length about her son and the devastating impact of his death.

The inquest is also scheduled to hear from Victoria Police Assistant Commissioner Luke Cornelius.
