Rider dies in country Vic crash

A man has been killed in a collision involving his motorcycle and a four-wheel drive in country Victoria.

The rider, 44, died at the scene at Trafalgar East in the Latrobe Valley just after 5pm on Monday and is the fourth motorcyclist this month to die on the state's roads.

Victoria's road toll is now 21, 10 fewer than at the same time last year.
