Police disappointed with Victorian drivers

Victorian drivers are continuing to disappoint the state's police who have been busy nabbing speedsters as part of Operation Nexus.

Police in Melbourne's west allegedly clocked one driver doing 133km/h in a 70km/h zone at Deer Park on Saturday night.

It's alleged he was also drink-driving and driving with his licence suspended.

The 34-year-old Keilor Downs man had his car impounded for 30 days and is expected to face speeding and drink-driving charges, among others.

Another 25-year-old man was caught allegedly driving at 108km/h in a 60km/h zone at Melton, also in the city's west.

His car was also impounded after a licence check showed the Brookfield man was driving on a suspended licence and was also wanted on warrants for theft and assault-related offences.
