A man is in police custody after reports of an incident involving hazardous materials at the Australian Tax Office building in the Melbourne CBD.
Police and firefighters attended the building on the corner of Spring and La Trobe Streets just after 3.40pm today.

The situation has been resolved and the man at the centre of the incident has been taken to the Alfred Hospital.
