Play equipment stolen from Vic park

Children in a southeast Victorian town have been left with nothing to play on after thieves stole playground equipment from a public park.

The slides, swings and climbing frames were stolen from the park at Bass, southeast of Melbourne, some time between December 16 and 30, police said.

Only the support poles were left at the Hade Avenue park site.

Investigators have released an image of the stolen equipment and are keen to speak to anyone that may have seen suspicious activity in the area.
