Picketing CUB workers to get union support
AAP
The Australian Transport Workers Union is set to join picketing workers outside the Carlton United Brewry.
Workers have been picketing for 151 days, ever since 55 maintenance workers lost their jobs at CUB's Abbotsford brewery after the beer giant changed contractor.
They've refused to sign on with a new labour-hire firm offering reduced pay and conditions.

TWU national secretary Tony Sheldon will speak to workers on Wednesday morning and will call on the government to hold manufacturers to account for wages and conditions.
The union says the new deal offered to the 55 workers would have left them 65 per cent worse off.
