Pedestrian killed in Melbourne carpark

A woman has been killed and another injured after a reversing car struck them in a Melbourne carpark.
The car hit the pair as a female driver reversed out of a space in the Brighton East carpark about 3.15pm on Thursday, police say.
One of the pedestrians died at the scene and the other was taken to The Alfred hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
