Paraglider crash-lands on Vic peninsula

A paraglider pilot has crash-landed, injuring his leg in Victoria's Mornington Peninsula National Park.

The man in his 30s was taken to Frankston Hospital in a stable condition on Friday evening, Ambulance Victoria says in a statement.

Paramedics were called to the park in Flinders shortly after 4.30pm but were unable to reach the man by road and had to proceed on foot.

It is believed he was coming in to land when he got in trouble and fell about 10 metres.
