Panties dropped outside Vic home

Numerous pairs of ladies' underwear keep turning up outside a Melbourne home with police hoping to get to the bottom of it.

At least three pairs of panties have turned up at the base of a tree outside the Surrey Hills home over the past few years - most recently a lacy black pair in the home's letterbox.

Detectives are preparing a brief of evidence and are calling on anyone who recognises the underwear or who has had knickers stolen from clotheslines in the area to contact police.
