An overheated laptop has sparked a blaze that destroyed a house in Melbourne.
The lithium battery in the laptop overheated on Sunday while on continuous charge in a home in Doncaster.
A MFB spokeswoman said it was a timely reminder that laptops, tablets and other devices must be removed from power sources once they are fully charged, or if no one is there to supervise.
