One Nation endorses Vic mosque opponent

A vocal opponent of the Bendigo mosque has been endorsed by Pauline Hanson's One Nation as its lead Senate candidate for Victoria.

Elise Chapman, a City of Greater Bendigo councillor, made headlines last year after she tweeted a graphic photo of genital mutilation in her fight against construction of the mosque.

"If elected, I will ask the hard questions and demand answers so that Australians can be fully informed on a range of issues and I will vote against any legislation that will harm the Aussie way of life," her statement on the One Nation website says.
