One dead in Melbourne motocross collision

A collision between two riders on a Melbourne motocross track has left one man dead.

Paramedics were called to the Frankston City Motorcycle Park in Seaford about 2.20pm after two riders collided on the track.

Ambulance Victoria said a man in his 20s had head injuries and was in cardiac arrest when they arrived.

Paramedics spent 45 minutes trying to revive him but he died at the track.

The other rider, also in his 20s, had minor injuries.

WorkSafe Victoria will investigate the incident.
