Offal accident stops Vic traffic

An offal accident is causing long delays on a Melbourne freeway, with motorists warned it will impact peak hour traffic.

A truck's load of offal spilled onto the West Gate Freeway near the Burnley Tunnel before 2pm on Wednesday and CityLink crews are working to clear the mess.

The two right lanes remain closed inbound on the freeway and drivers are warned they will remain closed during peak hour.
