No IBAC probe into Guy's mobster lobster

Victorian Opposition Leader Matthew Guy's lobster with an alleged mobster will not be investigated by the state's anti-corruption watchdog.

The Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission confirmed the information provided by Mr Guy and other information in the public domain does not fall within its jurisdiction.

"Accordingly IBAC will not be investigating this matter on the basis of the information provided to date," it says in a statement.

Mr Guy referred himself to IBAC earlier this month after being caught out for attending a dinner with guests that included Tony Madafferi at Melbourne's Lobster Cave restaurant.
