Nine Melbourne level crossings to go

The Victorian government is calling for tenders to remove nine level crossings in Melbourne's southeast by 2018.
Public Transport Minister Jacinta Allan on Wednesday released an expression of interest document for the works on the Caulfield to Dandenong rail line.
The works, over two years, are part of the Andrews government's pledge to remove 50 of Melbourne's worst level crossings including 20 in its first term.
