New year, same Vic firefighters dispute
AAP
Victoria's firefigthers dispute shows no sign of abating after the union used its first members communique of 2017 to organise a rally against the government.
The United Firefighters Union says it is unacceptable an enterprise bargaining agreement has not been reached despite more than three years of negotiations between the government, the CFA, the MFB, and volunteer and career firefighters.
The union has also accused the Labor government of not keeping its election promises, and has called on members to rally at Parliament House on January 19.
