Pair charged as missing Vic man found dead

A Victorian man missing for more than three months has been found dead and two people have been charged with his murder.

Lakes Entrance man Bradley Lyons, 30, was last seen at his home on December 2, before a family member in Queensland reported him missing nine days later.

Human remains were found overnight at a remote location near Bruthen in the state's east, police said on Friday.

Men aged 22 and 21 were arrested near Lakes Entrance and have been charged with murder.

A 53-year-old Nyerimilang man appeared at Bairnsdale Magistrates' Court on Thursday and was remanded in custody charged with serious assaults, unlawful imprisonment and kidnap.

He is also expected to be charged with murder.
