Murder charges laid over Melb balcony fall

A man and woman have been charged with murder over the death of a man who fell from a Melbourne balcony.
The 36-year-old died in hospital after the second-storey fall on January 15.
Police on Thursday charged an 18-year-old Ferntree Gully woman and a 36-year-old Ringwood man with murder.

They will front Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday.
A 25-year-old Boronia man is assisting police.
