Murder charge over 2005 Vic child death

A man has been charged with murdering a two-year-old girl in Melbourne ten years ago.
The South Yarra man, 36, has been charged with murder, manslaughter and assault-related offences over the toddler's death at Footscray in 2005, police say.
He will appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
