Multiculturalism Vic's best asset: govt

Multiculturalism is one of Victoria's strongest assets, according to the state government.

Saturday marks the 15th annual Harmony Day which will be celebrated with events across Melbourne.

"Harmony Day is a day of respect and inclusiveness - it says that whether here by birth or by choice, we are all Australian," multicultural affairs minister Robin Scott said.
