Wreckage found in Victoria's Port Phillip Bay days after fatal plane crash
Police have found the wreckage of a plane crash that claimed the lives of two men, after days of searching Victoria's Port Philip Bay.
Search crews have located the remains of the plane in waters near Mount Martha, about 50km from Melbourne CBD, this morning after the crash occurred about 1.45pm on Sunday.
The pilot, 56-year-old Stephen Gale from Brunswick, and skilled cameraman, 30-year-old James Rose from Surrey Hills, were the only two on board the plane at the time.

No bodies have been found and both men were believed to have been killed in the crash.
Police are now working to pull the fuselage of the plane from the sea, then it will be searched as part of the crash investigation.
The plane was one of two light Viper S-211 Marchetti aircraft that collided while flying together over Port Phillip Bay.
While it crashed into the water, the other managed to land safely at Essendon Airport in Melbourne.
Water Police, Air Wing and other police have been carrying out extensive searches across Port Phillip Bay since Sunday afternoon.

The wreckage was found about 12km out to sea.
Investigators are still working to establish the exact circumstances of the crash.
They want to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash, or who has vision of the planes flying over Mount Martha between 1pm and 2pm on Sunday.
