Motorcyclist's body found on Vic freeway

Police are appealing for witnesses after the body of a motorcyclist was found near Malvern in Melbourne's southeast.

Officers have been told that a motorist came across the rider on the Monash Freeway, between High Street and Warrigal Road, on Sunday night.

The rider was non responsive.

Police say the outbound lanes of the Freeway between Toorak Road and Winton overpass will be closed as detectives investigate.
