Two motorcyclists dead in Victoria

Two motorcyclists have died in separate crashes on Victoria's roads.

One rider became the 275th person to be killed on Victorian roads this year, after dying at the scene of a crash in Diamond Creek on Sunday morning.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the accident, which was on Diamond Creek Road near Old Diamond Creek Road about 10am.

A male motorcyclist also died after a collision with a four-wheel drive near the Victorian-NSW border.

The vehicles collided on the Murray Valley Highway in Rutherglen at 7pm on Sunday, and the male motorcyclist died at the scene.

The driver of the car stopped after the crash and has spoken with police.
