Motorcyclist killed in Melb crash

A motorcyclist has died southeast of Melbourne in a crash with a ute.

The head-on crash occurred on Frankston-Flinders Road, in Somerville, just after 8.30pm on Tuesday.

The man riding the motorbike died at the scene and the driver of the Ford ute was taken to Frankston Hospital with minor injuries.

He is the 20th motorcyclist to die on Victorian roads in 2016.
