Mini horses stolen from Vic pound

A miniature horse and its foal have allegedly been stolen from a Victorian pound.

The horses were seized by the RSPCA due to mistreatment and taken to the Daylesford Council pound, where they were then stolen in the early hours of Sunday morning, Daylesford Sergeant Barry Hills told AAP.

Police believe the fence to the pound has been tampered with and the owner of the horses is being interviewed by police.
