A unit fire in Melbourne that forced six people to evacuate their apartments is being treated as suspicious.
Six people were evacuated as the top floor of the unit block went up in flames about 2:45am on Tuesday, the MFB says.
A crime scene guard has been established around the fire site, which will be visited on Tuesday by an arson chemist.
