Melbourne shooting accused faces court

A man has faced court charged over the shooting of a woman he knew in suburban Melbourne.
The Tran, 42 of Mulgrave, faced Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday accused of attending Yazhi Wang's Doveton home unannounced about midday on Wednesday and firing a single shot from a .22 calibre pen pistol.
She was later treated for an arm injury.

Tran has been remanded to appear in the same court on June 7.
