Melbourne police raids net guns, drugs

Two men have been charged after police discovered 17 guns, ammunition and drugs during raids in Melbourne.
Police raided two homes in Melbourne's north on Thursday and charged a Thornbury man, 24, and Heidelberg Heights man, 46, with a host of firearms related offences.
The 46-year-old has also been charged with intentionally causing serious injury and kidnapping, following an alleged shooting in Heidelberg Heights on June 16.
