Melbourne party turns violent, 3 injured
A teenage party in Melbourne's east descended into a violent brawl that left three injured.
Police attended the party in Malvern East just after 11pm on Saturday, finding about 60 people on the street, with some of them believed to be gatecrashers from another nearby party.
Two people were treated for non-life threatening injuries, and one for serious injuries.
The Herald Sun reported on Sunday it was believed the gatecrashers were from Springvale and Doncaster gangs, and were known to police.
The property was apparently rented via Airbnb, with the teens staying there charging a $10 per head fee to cover costs including security and a DJ.
No arrests have yet been made, with police currently speaking to witnesses.
