Melbourne Metro a year ahead of schedule

Melbourne's Metro Tunnel is on track to open a year earlier than expected.
The rail project will be completed in 2025, Premier Daniel Andrews announced on Wednesday as he released the tunnel contracts.
When complete, the tunnel will take three busy train lines out of the congested City Loop.
