Vic worker freed after machine incident

A Melbourne worker has been taken to hospital with serious arm injuries after it became caught in a machine.
Emergency crews attended a Thomastown brick making factory in the city's north just before 8am on Wednesday after receiving reports the worker was trapped.
About 20 firefighters worked to swiftly free the man before he was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with serious, non-life threatening arm injuries.

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating the incident, a spokesman confirmed to AAP.
