Melbourne man arrested after stand-off

A Melbourne man is in hospital with dog bites after being involved in a nine-hour stand-off with police.
The 30-year-old man was holed up in a Dandenong home, refusing police requests to come out, from around midday on Monday to just after 9pm.
He was wanted on several warrants and police eventually sent in a dog to subdue the man, before he was arrested.
