MAN ACCUSED OF FUNDING ISLAMIC STATE FIGHTER

* Receives invalid pension

* Arrested at home during an early-morning raid on Tuesday

* Charged with funding an American man, 33, fighting for Islamic State in Syria

* Allegedly used his own and others' money to support the fighter and a pro-IS website

* Accused of transferring about $5000 between April 2013 and November 2014

* Melbourne home first raided in June 2016 when police seized electronic evidence

* Was due to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday
