Melbourne house fire treated as suspicious

A house fire in Melbourne's north may have been deliberately lit, authorities say.

The vacant Tullamarine home went up in flames about 4.30am on Thursday.

Investigators are working to determine how the blaze started but it's being treated as suspicious, police said in a statement.
