A mother and her two sons have escaped unharmed after an explosion in a Melbourne street blew in the windows of their home.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident in Songlark Crescent, Werribee about 10.15pm on Sunday.
The two teenage boys, who were in their bedroom at the time, were lucky not to be showered with glass when their window blinds stopped the debris.
