Melbourne cyclist killed by truck

A cyclist on a morning ride is dead after she was hit by a truck in a Melbourne bayside suburb.

The rider, who is yet to be identified, was riding in Brighton about 10am on Monday when she was hit, police say.

The truck driver, who was uninjured, is being interviewed by police and anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to come forward.
