Melbourne chiropractor allegedly plotted to kill fiancee's ex

A Melbourne chiropractor allegedly built a homemade crematorium to dispose of the body of his fiancee's ex, whom he was plotting to kill.

Adrian Oorloff, 47, used steel drums to build the incinerator on a property in Skye in Melbourne's southeast, a court heard yesterday.

Police told a bail hearing that Oorloff tried to hire an undercover policeman posing as a hitman to kidnap and murder his victim, the Herald Sun reports.

When asked if the hitman would need a balaclava, Oorloff allegedly said: "There's no need because he would be turned to dust".

He allegedly told the officer his homemade crematorium could do the job in five hours.

Oorloff then allegedly gave the undercover officer two syringes full of a powerful sedative.

Oorloff is facing 15 charges, including incitement to murder and incitement to kidnap.

The hearing will continue on Wednesday.
