Melb woman bound, robbed of $100k

A woman has been tied up and robbed of thousands of dollars in cash in a Melbourne home invasion.

The Tecoma woman had her feet and wrists bound by a man and a woman who entered her house in the early hours of Monday before they took off with the cash and a mobile phone.

Police would not say how much was taken other than a large amount but 3AW radio was reporting the stolen cash exceeded $100,000.

The victim, who suffered minor injuries, managed to free herself after the burglars had left, police said.
