Melbourne tram stoppages called off

Trains and trams will run as normal across Melbourne on Friday despite threats of industrial action by the public transport union.
Public Transport minister Jacinta Allan has taken to social media to announce four-hour stoppages across the tram network planned for Friday have been called off.
"Good news for passengers. Trains and trams running on Friday as usual," Ms Allan said on Wednesday.
