Melb shopping centre evacuated after fire

Almost 300 people, including scores of children, have been evacuated from a Melbourne shopping centre after a fire in the complex's food court.
The Metropolitan Fire Brigade says 200 people were safely moved from the centre in Gladstone Park along with 77 children in a childcare facility on the second level.
The fire, which started before midday, has been extinguished but crews are still checking the roof space to ensure there are no flare-ups.
