Man struck, killed by train in Vic

A young man has been struck and killed by a train in regional Victoria.
Police say the 19-year-old victim was lying across the tracks on a pedestrian crossing at East Bendigo when the accident happened about 10.15pm on Saturday.
The man was from Hastings, south of Melbourne.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
