Man stabbed during Pokémon card meet-up in Melbourne car park
A man has been assaulted in a car park in Melbourne’s inner-city during a meeting to trade Pokémon cards.
Police were called to a car park near Elizabeth and Lennox streets in Richmond about midnight on August 22 following reports a 29-year-old man had suffered injuries to his face.

It is understood the victim was meeting up with another man to trade Pokémon cards when the assault took place.
The man was taken to hospital with a slash wound to his face.
He needed surgery to treat the injury, according to 3AW.

The offender fled the scene and no arrests have been made, police said.
An investigation into the alleged assault remains ongoing.
“Detectives have follow-up enquiries to make in relation to the person involved,” Victoria Polices said in a statement.
