Man charged over fatal Melbourne stabbing

A man has been charged with murder after another man was found stabbed to death in an apartment building in Melbourne's CBD.
Emergency services were called to the La Trobe Street apartment building about 11pm on Saturday and found the body of 22-year-old Liam Cahill with stab wounds.
A 22-year-old Williamstown man was arrested a short distance from the scene.

He will appear on the murder charge at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Many tributes for Mr Cahill, an apprentice plumber, have been posted on social media.
"I will love you forever brother, I am going to miss you every day. Thank you for every single memory together," read one on Facebook.
