Fatal Melbourne house fire not suspicious

A Melbourne house fire that killed an elderly man has been deemed not suspicious.
Paramedics could not revive the man after firefighters pulled him and a woman from a Noble Park North home about 12.20am on Thursday.
The woman, aged in her 70s, has non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Dandenong Hospital.

Authorities were investigating the cause of the fire and on Thursday afternoon a Victoria Police spokeswoman said the cause of the fire had been deemed not suspicious.
