Man quizzed over Vic historical assaults

An elderly man has been interviewed over a series of historical sexual assault allegations at a Victorian school.
Police are investigating complaints made by former students of St Patrick's College in Sale during the 1970s and 1980s.
The male students were aged between 11 and 15 at the time of the alleged incident.

Detectives from the child exploitation investigation Sano Taskforce arrested and interviewed an 87-year-old Sale man on Thursday about the allegations.
The man has been released pending further inquiries.
Detectives are hoping to speak to victims or witnesses who might have information about sexual abuse at the college.
