Metro advises city loop trains are unaffected on the Cranbourne, Pakenham, Frankston, Sunbury, Craigieburn, Upfield, South Morang and Hurstbridge lines.
However, trains along the Alamein, Belgrave, Lilydale and Glen Waverley lines are not running via the city loop and are running directly from Flinders St to Richmond.
Commuters on theses lines who want to connect to the city loop are advised to travel to Flinders St or Richmond stations.
