Man found dead near Melbourne's Shrine of Remembrance

A man has been found dead near Melbourne's Shrine of Remembrance this afternoon.

Police were called to Kings Domain near St Kilda Road after the man's body was discovered by a passer-by about 2.50pm.

Emergency services have been on-scene for several hours investigating.

Police do not believe there are suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

The exact cause of death is yet to be determined.
