Teens charged with Adelaide bashing murder

Two teenagers have been charged with murder after allegedly bashing a man outside a pub in Adelaide's north.

The pair are accused of punching the 46-year-old outside the Slug 'N' Lettuce Hotel at Parafield Gardens early on Saturday, police said.

Bystanders came to the man's aid but he died in hospital from head injuries.

Two 19-year-old Paralowie men arrested over the incident have had their aggravated assault charges upgraded to murder.

They have been refused police bail to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday.
